I seem to be having some serious problems with our branding for kaseya. We are trying to make a system tray agent icon and everyhting we make and upload looks like garbage. Its all pixelated and VERY hard toread. I dont under stand how all the other system tray icons or even the kaseya default looks hig res and beautiful. I have tried creating the icons in lots of different programs (GIMP, Photoshop, etc) and I have tried different sizes and qualities.
Has anyone else had this issue or does anyone have any suggestions for me so I can get a decent high res icon for the sstem tray?
I don't see a Mac-specific forum. Is this the best place to post Mac questions? Currently, I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to manage MacOS patching. I'd like to be able to control Mac software updates in a manner comparable to the way we manage Windows patches. Thanks.
I'm looking to get some feedback from the community on Antivirus/Anti-malware best practices.
Prior to Kaseya, we used a mix of Symantec and Trend Micro at our clients. When we started with Kaseya 3 years ago, we pushed KAV because we were told it was the future. But it was a disaster, slowed down PC's and was too buggy, so a year ago we switched to KES. It's been better as far as not impacting the PC's but twice so far a virus got out to clients (pretty bad one) which AVG was unable to block or repair after the fact, and we ended up using Symantec to clean it.
We also use KAM but it doesn't seem to have much of an effect, at least we can't tell because its logging is very limited in Kaseya.
My question is what does everyone else use for av and what is the overall best solution? I refuse to go back to a per client model and deploy AV servers at each client. Whatever solution we do must be managed centrally by Kaseya or another system. And of course be able to be pushed via Kaseya scripts.
I know that no one AV program is perfect and each has their own strengths, so I'm looking for the overall consensus.
I have the following situation.
I created a procedure that copies a file, than zips it.
This is happening on 20 machines, no i want to copy this zip file to a another machine out of the goup where the files are copied..
How can i create the variable to copy the created zip to the designated machine.
I did not see a section for Quick View, or anything that sounded similar so I apologize if this is in the wrong spot. Since upgrading to KServer 6.3 I've noticed if I prematurely close the Remote Countdown page (when moting from Quick View) it cases the entire webpage to refresh, and sometimes it even refreshes to the login page and I have to login again. Has anyone else run into this? (FYI, MOST of our systems are still XP, so I have not tested this with KVNC)
One of our clients is having an issue with the NDIS driver causing spikes in bandwidth. Don't ask me how, since we have 700 other machines with KAV installed and no issue, but they requested that we remove the driver from all of their workstations. I tried using the KPacker utility to simulate the uninstall of the NDIS filter which always tests fine on the same machine it's created on but when tested on another machine it either deletes the network adapters entirely or just screws it up and doesn't let you get into the adapter properties. I've even located the registry key and the system file (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\{4d36e974-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\{C477F579-9F31-474D-86CC-E1567F0BFD1D}\Ndi) and tried deleting it... caused the same results. The system file is klim6.sys. Attached below is the filter I'm talking about.
This might be a server issue for me, but when I make a Policy that assigns a re-occurring procedure and do not check "Skip if Offline"... I would think the procedure should run immediately if the starting date has passed already and then schedule the next occurrence in the future. All my policies are scheduling these procedures for the next occurrence... and i can't remember if this is normal?
How to make agent procedure check the serial number ? from audit?
I have noticed that after KID reboots the computer, to jump into whatever imaging process we have told it to, that the network boot will fails to find a PXE server, but on the very next screen it will boot into the PXE environment.
I'm just wondering if this is the normal behavior as I have almost no experience with PXE servers.
Hello,
I'm looking for the network scan option. Is there a way to scan the network behind the gateway. 4.1 had that function but can't find it in 5.0
Having issues setting up the email reader in service desk. We get this error after adding a reader
Rebex.Net.ImapException: Invalid IMAP response. at ServiceDesk.ProcessEmail.HandleEmlReader.HandleIMAP(Boolean IsEmailLogging, String LogFileName) in C:\dev\serviceDesk\branches\serviceDesk-v1.4.0.0\source\ServiceDesk.ProcessEmail\HandleEmlReader.cs:line 541

I am trying to create a report that shows all machines missing a piece of software in the new report builder. I am building a report part under the audit > Add/Remove Programs area.
I can create a list of all machines that have the software installed, and it doesn't list any machines without it or other applications. I accomplish this by setting the advnaced filter to Application Name | Equal (=) | <Software Name>
When I try to create a report part that shows the exact opposite, all machines that do not contain this application, it lists all machines including the ones that have it. I try to accomplish my goal by setting my advanced filter to Application Name | Not Equal (!=) | <Software Name>
Any help with what I am doing wrong or what I am missing would be much appreciated.
I have several dashboards shared out with the auto login feature and they seem to be all jumbled up in IE 10. They look fine in Chrome. Maybe it's just me, but I've tried it on several different machines.

Can Someone please help me with my report? I'm trying to create a report where the results are tickets that reached its goal time. How am i going to configure that? What Fields and aggregates to choose?
I tried creating report but its seems dull and I wanted to make it more meaningful. It just displays the Created DateTime, Modified DateTime and DueDateTime. But I still have problems, Due DateTime won't appear in the report even though it is visible in the tickets. What seems o be the problem? Please see the photo below.
I hope you can help me with my 2 queries. Thank you.

Hello everyone,
I'm in the process of looking for a new home for my Ksever. I'm not interested in putting it in my office and want to get recommendations for CoLoc.
Where do you have your Kserver? Hows the service? How's the PRICE!
Thanks in advance for any comments.
Hello,
We have deployed two probe on Active Direcftory.
One on the domain "eu.ivc" and another one on a domaine "na.ivc".
First one "eu.ivc" has been installed month ago and working well, but the second one "na.ivc" has been installed today and we get this error in Audit Logs "Active Directory Change Monitor is uninstalled".
We tried to Deactivate it then Reactivate. Uninstall / Reinstall, but error is here.
Any idea on this error
Quick question, is the process KasAVSrv.exe used by KES and KAV?
Share your story - we are interested!
We've created this series of tools as a way to get started with the Kaseya suite of products. Each tool represents a VERY small portion of the overall Kaseya platform - but solves really important problems. As you become more familiar with these tools, share your stories, successes, failures, etc.
Help us make these better!
Here's how to get started:
